Moor Gang teammate Jarv Dee touches the East Coast with Brooklyn’s Kris Kasanova and THC Billy Badda$$, and NYC’s Justin Rose. “Bogu$” should be played at high volume, preferably in a residential neighborhood.

NEW MUSIC: “Home Of The Mighty” – Spekulation (feat. Perry Porter & Paolo Escobar)
Spekulation knows a lot about proper placement, whether it’s the interpolation of live instrumentation in his songs — like the 20-piece horn section in his latest Pac NW tribute anthem “Home Of The Mighty” (featuring MC Perry Porter and vocalist Paolo Escobar) — or the year long effort he recently put in with frequent collaborator Nate Omdal scoring the short film Enemy Within (which just received a nice look from the New York Times). Read more about Spek and his work and creative process, here.
NEW MUSIC: “Everything” – Thaddeus David (feat. T Spoon & Stewart Villain)
Moor Gang’s Thaddeus David (with help from neighbors in the PDX, T Spoon and Stewart Villain) re-imagines a classic beat for “Everything”, a summer riding anthem suitable for anyone residing on the West Coast of these contiguous states.
NEW MUSIC: “Nowhere To Be Found” – Avatar Darko (prod. by Southside of 808 Mafia)
Avatar Darko’s Soviet Goonion 3 is set for a mid- to late-June release. Now that that’s settled, “Nowhere To Be Found” lets us know where Av is likely to be, well, found: in speedboats, Audis, and the company of bad women with controlled substances. Who cares if he still can’t grow a beard?
NEW MUSIC: “Nights With Aliens” – Key Nyata (prod. by Maximus Nedrick)
Here’s a vague one-off by Key Nyata about aliens and stuff. It’s bolstered by the frantic pleas of a paranoid alien abductee (I think) rambling about the ETs coming for our populated areas. Bill Pullman, save us.
NEW MUSIC: $WAMP JAM$ II: MORE $WAMP – Don’t Talk To The Cops!
Don’t Talk To The Cops! had their swan song performance a few weeks ago at Chop Suey — such an appropriate place for one last go — and I hear it was a natural and zesty enterprise. Unfortunately I wasn’t there. Relive it though on their $WAMP JAM$ II: MORE $WAMP (capital letters and “$”‘s theirs). It’s possible DtttC! invented the Seattle turn-up, a microgenre of the regular turn-up and, many will argue, superior in most ways to the original.
NEW MUSIC: “Alpha” – Paid Roza
Here then is a brief snippet from Underworld Dust Funk’s latest purveyor of dark rap matter, Paid Roza. The rapper-producer works a bit of numerology into the bleak proceedings as well. From his upcoming NFLM.
NEW MUSIC: “Turn On Us” – Xave Zelda (feat. Thaddeus David & J Byrd)

This gif has exactly nothing to do with the song “Turn On Us” by rapper Xave Zelda, and was simply brought to you by the magic of Google image search.
An unknown (to me anyway) rapper by the name of Xave Zelda sent me this track a couple weeks ago. It features Thaddeus David and J. Byrd and was produced by Genesis. I thought it was kinda dope so I decided to run it today. Better yet, it gave me an excuse to post the gem of a gif you see above.

NEW MUSIC: Start Here EP – Janae Jones
MC, singer, producer, and photographer Janae Jones quietly released this atmospheric two-piece about three weeks ago. The Start Here EP is a brief electronic whisper featuring Janae’s esoteric musings and a promise that “This is only the beginning”. Self-produced with a little help from GMK; check for it below.
NEW MUSIC: “Mold You” – Luck-One (feat. The Good Sin & Dizz)
This breezy, battle-of-the-sexes summer anthem was the first entry of Luck-One’s #WeeklyWonders series — a new track by the MC posts every Thursday on 2Dopeboyz. It cruises along on the strength of Tmak’s R&B-tinged beat, with Dizz on the hook and the Six’s most recent NYC relocatee Sinseer on the guest bars. Stream “Mold You” below and, in case you missed it, check for 206UP’s exclusive interview with Luck below that.
