Old enough to know that the youth is wasted; young enough to not care. Brothers From Another stay breezy yet again in their clip for “Blame It On My Youth,” directed by Jon Holman. Track devised by Nima Skeemz.

Gabriel Teodros and SoulChef dropped a new video for their song “Light Attracts Light & Everything Else Too,” from their soulful and uplifting Evidence Of Things Not Seen. GT has always seemed preternaturally aware of what the hip-hop community needs to hear in moments of crisis. This is yet another example. Check out the recent interview he did for Africa Speaks 4 Africa and also peep the video interview I co-produced with the 28Hundred team at the bottom of this post.
Seattle native, Queens-relocated rapper Aaron Cohen continues to put video work in even as he gears up for his first multi-country tour across Europe with Smoke DZA. “Dreams Money Can’t Buy” is Aaron’s latest and it’s from his first official album, You Wouldn’t Know.
In which Thraxxhouse teammate BB Sun (almost) asks nicely for all the stuff he’s robbing you of. His crew is 26 members deep and bringing a glorious darkness to their new Southern California environs. Get hip before the “cool kids” do. Watch for BB’s God’s Twin Brother coming this month.
Thaddeus David took a brief foray through NYC recently. Here’s the footage which also doubles as a music video for his track “JMSN” from his Untitled EP with PDX producer Stewart Villain. Ralph Madison behind the lens.
In which Raz Simone unexpectedly re-imagines the Idina Menzel hit of the same name. Not. This gripping sequence of visuals directed by Xavier Ruffin could also be described as Frozen because, well, you get it, right? Raz is still about that life. From his upcoming Cognitive Dissonance: Part 2.
Internationally famous MC Jin and the Town’s very own Hollis Wong-Wear combine powers for “Complicated,” a hip-hop chronicle of ambiguous past transgressions wrapped in visual allegory. Dope look.
BenadriLL’s new music video “Ca$h.” Or, “LakeHouse Ent: An Underdog Story.” Shout-out to Roofdogg for keeping me apprised. Watch for Ben’s Under The Table coming as soon as foreclosure proceedings are completed.
Rapper/singer Scribes keeps consistent, striving for “The Ceiling” on his West Coast grind. Tacoma’s Leezy Soprano lends bars and heft to the track. Grab it here if you’re digging it.
Ryan Caraveo’s “Godmode” is the rapper’s last release before his album Swings hits the streets on December 12. There’s an auto-tuned, Drake-lite flow and a perfectly coiffed head of hair in this one. That’s about it though, family. Go check Ryan out live at his album release party at the Crocodile if you’re so inclined.
