AlonzoSevan, the rapper formerly known as Peta Tosh, dropped this clip earlier in the month. “The City” is from his 2013 project, Still Different, and was directed by Ralph Madison.
Antbzy and crew live the easy life on Lake Washington. Peta Tosh and Jessica Domingo share the spotlight on “Summer Coolin'”. And is that a Tiglo I see?
Three of the most promising voices in Seattle rap collab for “Sweet Life,” another production by the 253’s DJ Semaj (see previous post).
Carl Roe and Peta Tosh talk some smooth shit over a Slimm Gemm beat. These two MCs have chosen to make Seattle the center of their rap hustle and I believe the scene is better for it. Check out PT’s The Takeoff Part 2 here, and CR’s The Broken Time Machine at this location.
“Can’t Help Myself” – Carl Roe (feat. Peta Tosh)
I don’t know much about Peta Tosh, a local MC who appears to be hustling hard (based on the number of press emails I get from his camp anyway). He enlisted local video veteran Detooz Films for this clip, “Interlude,” a track available on the artist’s last EP, Different (get that below). A little Twitter told me a new ‘tape from the MC is coming soon called The Take Off Part 2, so if you dig his style watch for that.
