This song treads in the familiar love-song-to-rap territory but charmingly avoids overwrought cliches. When Sol spits it, you get the feeling he’s not just in awe of his own natural ability, but also of the unifying nature of hip-hop music. It’s like those days when you’re on the golf course or the basketball courts and things are going so right for you; half of you feels like one bad motherf-cka and the other half just wants to stand in humble reverence to the power of the game you’re playing.
