Singer, songwriter and guitarist Jasper T mashes genres with “Broken Singer’s Blues 2.0”, the first single in a lead-up to the remixed version of his debut album, The Sweet Dark Pt. 1. Here he enlists hip hop producer Trox and reunites with Tacoma’s John Crown for a new take on his original track. Jasper and Crown previously collaborated on the acoustic “Julie” which you can find back here.

Hurricane Irene came and went with nary a disruption in this blogger’s life. Well, if you don’t count being unable to leave the house for about 24 hours a disruption. In any case, New Yorkers persevered as usual.
