NEW MUSIC: Romaro Franceswa – Romaro Franceswa

Romaro FranceswaBeanOne - Romaro Franceswa Prod By BeanOne - RO-BACK2

Romaro Franceswa is the latest member of BeanOne’s Yuk The World team. The worthy Federal Way spitter displays a far-ranging skill set on his self-titled debut album. From a highly acrobatic flow on “Prodigy”, to a club oriented swagger on “Bounce”, to the soul-tinged “Bella URLovd”, Romaro sets himself up to be next in a long line of talented young MCs jostling for position in the Town.

NEW MUSIC: “Procrastination” – Spaceman (feat. Marissa; prod. by DJ Charma)

Spaceman

“Procrastination” speaks to the college undergrad, the lethargic office worker and the blunt-rolling MC alike. “The song is me pretty much my chance to craft a public record disclaimer for my ways,” the Sportn’ Life rapper jokes. This is off his upcoming Beyond The Stars EP.

NEW(ISH) MUSIC: “So Good” – La (prod. by Jester)

sogood

La shot over this loosie yesterday, or the day before, fuck it I can’t remember, it’s too hot out. Produced by Jester sometime in 2009, “So Good” is about a bomb-ass girl. The Colonel has nothing to do whatsoever with this joint, it’s just there was no track artwork and the image you see above is the second one that comes up when Google image searching “so good”. Somehow it applies, though.

NEW MUSIC: “All It Takes” – Def Dee (feat. Magestik Legend, Jamall Bufford & Hassaan Mackey)

Def Dee - 33 and a Third

Seattle-area producer Def Dee is about to “make it out” of the region (whatever that means) with the release of 33 and a Third on that fine purveyor of indie-ground rap, Mello Music Group. Watch for the album with guest features listed above on July 30. “All It Takes” is the warm up, a fine example of boom-bap eloquence featuring two Detroit spitters, Magestik Legend and Jamall Bufford, and upstate New Yorker, Hassaan Mackey.

NEW MUSIC: ILLFIGHTYOU – ILLFIGHTYOU

IFY_BC

ILLFIGHTYOU is Tacoma’s EvergreenOne, and UglyFrank and Khris P of Sandlot. One part horrorcore, one part balls-trippin’ drug rap, and one part janky stand-up comedy. On their self-titled debut album (out today) the crew pulls out its impressively-girthed id and smacks you across the face with it. (I think that’s a compliment.)
