Brothers From Another, Ryan Caraveo and Dave B are young Seattle musicians that are killing it right now. They represent a new guard in Seattle rap: a youth movement that is unapologetic in its juvenility but with a foresight and self-awareness that belies the carefree exterior. This show was like watching the future of Seattle rap.
Ryan Caraveo performed songs from his recently released project Swings. Dave B had his usual high energy. And headliners BFA charmed the sold-out crowd and also brought out guests that included Geo, Grynch, Gifted Gab, Kung Foo Grip, and Sam Lachow. Their Locals Only show was just a preview of what’s to come.
